The suspects went to Ulta Beauty at Hamilton Crossings in Lower Macungie just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, said Trooper Nathan Branosky in a statement.

The pair, a 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, had brought along an empty baby stroller and filled it with perfume before walking out of the store without paying, he said.

While investigating, troopers learned that the duo had been spotted at another Ulta in Spring Township, Berks County. They were arrested there a short time later, Branosky said.

The suspects were each charged with retail theft, a third-degree felony under Pennsylvania law, troopers noted. Their identities were not given.
